On August 4, 2015, Dr. Prayote Kupgarnjanagool, the president of Suratthani Rajabhat University presided over a seminar at the VDO Conference Room, Dipangkorn Rasmijoti Building. The participants were divided into 2 groups, University executives and Program heads attending the session on Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) presented by Professor Dr. Michael Walter Churton from University of South Florida and Faculty members form Humanities and Social Sciences and Nursing Faculty attending the session on Human Social Services by Ms. Elaine Francis Churton.
        MOOCs provide participants with course materials that are normally used in a conventional education setting – such as lectures, videos and study materials which are useful in a community for students, professors, teachers and people in general whereas the Human Social Services session was an informal talk which participants shared ideas on social problems and solutions.  The seminar was one of the Human Resource Development activities that university provide to the executives and the faculty members.
