NCYU Information

National Chiayi University is a comprehensive university based on the merger of National Chiayi Teachers College and National Chiayi Institute of Technology (Formerly Chiayi Agricultural College) in 2000. The university has 6 colleges, which include 7 doctoral programs, 39 full-time master’s programs, and 39 undergraduate programs. NCYU is one of the oldest and largest universities in the southern part of Taiwan. NCYU is located in a beautiful setting under the famous Mt. Ali and is comprised of four campuses and a practicum forest, for a total land mass of 285.9 hectares.

Currently, NCYU offers 3 full English Master’s programs:

• Global Master program of Tourism and Management,
• Global Master program of Agricultural Science,
• Global Master program of Teaching Profession.

NCYU offers excellent Chinese classes for all international students. They are in different levels and with small class size, so that international students can use the opportunity and study Chinese well when they are enrolled here.

The application period this year is until 31th May, 2015 for fall admission.
