SRU President Joins International Stage at Jilin International Studies University to Exchange Visions on ‘AI and Education’

September 20, 2025 – The “Chinese-Foreign University Presidents Forum” was held at the International Exchange Center of Jilin International Studies University (JISU), People’s Republic of China, celebrating the university’s 30th anniversary. The event saw enthusiastic participation from executives and academics representing 82 institutions across 15 countries.

The central highlight of the conference was a discussion and exchange of views on the topic: “Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Transformation of Higher Education: Opportunities, Challenges, and Responses.” The President of Suratthani Rajabhat University served as the representative of Thai educational institutions, joining the forum to deliver a Keynote Speech.

Assistant Professor Dr. Wattana Rattanaprom, President of Suratthani Rajabhat University, was invited as one of the institutional leaders to deliver the Keynote Speech. His address shared in-depth insights on the impact of AI on higher education and outlined approaches to leveraging this technology.

A unanimous consensus was reached among the university presidents and global experts: AI must be utilized with an open attitude and a spirit of innovation to collectively address the challenges and seize the opportunities presented by this technology.

The shared goal is to increasingly cultivate high-level personnel with an International Perspective, who will serve as a crucial force in driving global society toward creating a community with a shared future.

This conference was recognized as a vital platform enabling Chinese and international universities to build cooperation, redefine higher education in the AI era, and sustainably propel educational development toward a higher quality.
